Varscona Theatre is a landmark in Edmonton’s Old Strathcona neighbourhood.
Recently, the Varscona Theatre kicked off a refresh to its venue as well as to its brand. As part of the project, Cyrcorp was engaged to manage an addition and renovation to the existing Varscona Theatre. The theatre increased its seating to 200 seats, added a new stage and a secondary 60-seat rehearsal space. We worked with multiple specialty consultants for the soundproof theatre chamber, which helps maximize acoustics, and the state-of- the-art lighting and sound.
